ABC Level 2 Award and Certificate in Youth Work Practice.

I have been preparing for the next ABC Level 2 Award and Certificate in Youth Work Practice. This is a nationally recognised certificate; the course is designed to equip volunteers and aspiring youth workers with the skills and knowledge to work in a project at assistant Youth Support level. This is YG’s 4th course and it’s a new curriculum combining classroom theory with practical experience in a youth setting. The course takes about 6 months to complete. I’ve spent some time rewriting some of the modules and re gigging the criteria for the new programme, finally its ready to go.

The taught sessions start 7th September. I am excited to work with the individuals I have already interviewed and accepted on the course. There are still a couple of places available if anyone would like to join…. Contact hew.punter@youngglos.org.uk.
